Well I got around to tuning up my truck today. Had some corrosion going on for sure.
Plugs looked alright though. I did notice the mew plugs I put in are shorter than the ones I took out. Is that bad???



I put in some NGK splitfires gapped at 44. New cap, rotor, and wires.
Helped a little bit but still one gutless truck. I'm very unimpressed.
Got a new CEL code too. P1486. Checked online and seems to be emissions ****. Hopefully nothing serious.
Will I have to go somewhere and get the P0306 code cleared? Or will it go off in time?

 

1486 Pinched or blocked hose in the evaporative hose system....unhook your battery for a few mins, should clear the codes..if they come back the problem is still there
