Default Brush Gaurds / Door Steps?

Ok did a search with no results. This shouldn't be hard!

My father just bought a 2008 Ram, MDS Hemi, 1500, 4X4, Quad Cab, 20 inch wheels, Tow Package, Bla Bla Bla You get the hint. Oh yea, it's red.

Now this is a huge step for him and I want to make sure he is HAPPY.

What I am looking for are steps with flat edges. (not like round pipe) Nerf Bars would look awesome but my mother is handicap. Snow is slick. I've seen so great package's but not just a step. They can be small under each door. I would like stainless but whatever is cheap but good.

Also looking for a brush guard. One that goes in front around the head lights. Again I want it to look good but cheap. No winch platform is necessary.

This is going to be the last truck he buy's. This is only the 2nd new truck he has ever had. So yes he is a cheap skate.

The next thing is getting them. I need to order them for him. He still lives in the stone age, but I told him my friends can help me.

Thanks

as for brush guard look on ebay great deal plus good quality now price will vary depending on stainless or powder coated. personally i am partial due to the fact they are more rounded on our trucks but thats my 2 cents as for squared nerf bars they do make running board they are many options to go here try ebay stylin concepts 4wheel part and even jc whitney.com..

If this is intended to be the last truck he buys, get a good set of steps and a high quality brush guard. A little higher cost now will save big time in replacement costs later.
I've had cheap nerfs and cheap brush guards and believe me, neither lasts. I've had flaking paint & rust on black ones in less than two years and pitting on chrome ones almost from day one.
I think Warn's Trans4mer is topps for the brush guard, but it's VERY pricey and probably not needed if a winch mount is not a consideration. Westin's are extremely high quality and would probably outlast the truck...

Like I said this is not my truck. He's cheap, not me. I understand this point of view and would definatly go this way but I am on here for him.

Thanks guy's. I was just hoping that someone has answers. Some people have had luck with different company's.

www.gorhino.com

brush guards should bolt right on - don't know if they have an '08 available

otherwise, their dealers will install
