try looking in the conpartment thats under the center front seat. mine was in there.

idk my dad and grandpa bought one with the cummins and they were both in the glove box. then again some 1 coulda "TEST DROVE" it b4 u bought it and "borrowed" it.

 

Checked everywhere, its not in the truck. The sales guy showed me on the parts department pcthatstarting with 2008 models they are no longer shipped with the truck.

bought my 08 qc4x4 about a month ago and it came with both the cigarette lighter and the 7 pin connector.

 

That is crap!!! Our 08'PowerWagon came with a cigarette lighter and 2 additional 12v outlets also had tow package and 4 wire plug in for a brake controller. Many bad dealers keep them and sell/re-sell them to you. I bet if you call Dodge they will tell you it had them when it left the factory. Ours were in glovebox and the winch remote and hook and manual was inside rear underseat storage compartment.

 

My 08 ram came with the cig. lighter, but no wiring harness. I do have the tow package with the 7 pin connector though. why is this differing from dealer-to-dealer?

 

Same here...'08 LoneStar came with cig lighter, no wiring harness. I also have the tow package w/ 7 pin. I bought the harness from O'Reilly for about 15 bucks.

 

I just got my 2008 Ram 1500 QC 4x4 SXT. It came with a cigarette lighter. I was actually wondering why they still provide that. If the other trucks at your dealership have them, check to see if they are listed on the price sheet in the window. All options and their prices should be listed there.

If by "harness" you are referring to the connection to your brake control, I don't see how they could provide that since they would not know which brake control you are going to buy (or if). When I bought my brake controller I purchased a Tekonsha PRODIGY and a harness for it that plugged right into the connector next to my steering column. I had to ask a mechanic where it was, but once he pulled it down from it's hiding place, it was plug and play.
