Default Slight clicking sound on front end ?? CV joint.

Been hearing a slight clicking sound on full lock and just off full, when turning both ways. It's not real noisy but I can just hear it.
Figure this is the CV joints?
How hard are these to do on a QC 1500 4X4 Hemi?
What would I need to order in the way of joints/seals etc??
Any help as always, is appreciated.
Al.

tie rod ends maybe? reach around and pull on it. if you feel or even hear some play, it might just be those. that's my idea for the day =)

don't know but i've started hearing the same thing but in the rear of mine... and i aint the brakes because if its doing it and i tap my brakes it stops for a second then starts again when i let off the brake... mines not constant... its about 1-4 seconds apart until i get to 40 mph...nothing wrapped around anything under there so i quit messin with it.

I wouldn't rule out it's not your brakes dwoods.
If you tap your brakes and the sound goes away it looks to me like you have a pad that's just not coming off the rotor.
The pads are supposed to float over the rotor. If there's muck and dust etc causing the piston to not withdraw into the caliper, that would cause the slight dragging you're hearing.
This is common, when a lot of dust and road grime builds up on the rubber piston gater on the caliper.
Tapping the brakes causes the piston to push the pad towards therotor making contact, then becauseit's sticking, the pad doesn't come off the rotor to "float". There's still a slight contact which can be heard, as your "ticking".
Take a wheel off and use a brake cleaner/de-duster, to remove all the deposits around your calipers and pads and try it.
Hope it helps?
The only time it takes is to remove your wheel, so it's a quick and efficient fix.
As for me, my ticking is directly related to the CV front inner/outer axel joints/tripod.
I'll needtwo new front half shafts to rectify this, with the inner and outer cv joint and tripods.
It's only on one side at present and just starting to be noticable, so I have a little time to source some parts.
Anyone know of a good international parts supplier for this??

Cheers,
Al.
