Hey guys I need some serious help, Heres what happened today i did a service to my transmission and to the rear end i got all the right gaskets back in, cleaned up the outer perimeters, before putting the new gaskets and all back on, the right Transmission fluidand all the correctthings to do,when i finished up, i let run till it got to running temp then when to back it out of my drive the transmission does not shift right, at a dead stop you have to get the rpms up for it to go intogear and when i slow down it doesnt down shift i have to do it maually.

 

I'm assuming you did check the trans fluid level after it warmed up?

 

Well of course! i even went to limit of mearsuring how much trans fluid came out so i knew how much to put back in

 

Just thought I'd ask the obvious and get it out of the way!

Other than that I don't know enough about these transmissions yet to make an educated guess. I haven't been into the one in our truck yet.
