Default gauge hookup

alright i got my gauges in and got the electrical part of everyhting hooked up now i need to know how to actually hook em up i got a trans temp and the air/fuel ratio. their going on my 02 w/ 4.7. anyone done this or know how to do it? some 1 said something bout a test port on the tranny and just clip into a wire from the o2 sensor?

you dont want to tap into a stock o2 sensor, have a new bung put in as close to the exhaust manifold as possible and get the o2 sensor that is made for the gauge you got. As for the tranny temp, I think your best bet is to have a bung welded into the transmission fluid pan. If you had a tranmission fluid cooler you could just tap into one of those lines, but dodge only put them on 03 up trucks.

Haven't hook one up to my ram but when I had my e350 I hooked up the trans gauge to the test port. Worked great and an easy install. Hope this helps.
