2006 dodge ram 4x4 lift question
So i recently lifted my 2006 Dodge ram 1500 4x4 hemi with the procomp 6 inch lift. I ran into a snag with the rims. Has anyone done theres with rims 17-20? That darn knuckle. What kind of rims and what kind of backspacing did you get to work. 4.53 backspacingrubs with the 17x9 Motometal rims. I will be mudding it. But also want a clean look.
Thanks!

RE: 2006 dodge ram 4x4 lift question
I have 4" Rancho lift, 17x9 rims with 4.5 backspacing. 35x12.5x17's fit with a good bit to spare. I'm wondering if the coil over 06+ front ends have an issue that the 02-05's don't. With 2" more lift I'd think you'd be well clear with virtually the same spec rims. Taller or wider tires?

RE: 2006 dodge ram 4x4 lift question
I am putting either 35x12.5 on them or 37x12.50. The knuckle sticks out pretty far. i have my stock ones on there right now 20's i have been told those ar 4 backspacing but you can not put a larger tire on them with the kit. i have maybe a 1/4 inch from wheel to knuckle. I dont think the rancho has the knuckles like the procomp does.
