Default HELP!!! FUNNY NOISES!

Hey guys, when I hit the gas it makes a sqeally noise like from the belts moving. I hear it really loud right in front of the radiator when I turn it on and it gets really loud. I don't know if it's the fan or belts, i cant tell! Anyone ever had this problem? I tried washing the engine to see if anything was dirty from mud or w/e, but nothing . What do you guys think it is? WHen I turn it off, I smell a funny burnt smell in front of the grill.....if that helps any?? PLEASE HELP! I don't know if I should keep on driving it like it is or not!

How many miles? Sounds like she just wants a new belt.

That's probably 'bout right. Also easy to do and relatively inexpensive.

It was the water pump and bearings. I finally saw that the water pump pulley was getting looser(was moving back and forth), and realized all the squeaks were comming from there. Brought it to the dealership and they also agreed. Only paid $50 for parts and labor because I bitched lol instead of the $100 deductable. Runnin smooth and quiet again! The new water pump looks so pretty, silver, and clean compared to the rest of the block/motor lol.
