One more thing INF the e fan. Min cfm 2500, but you might as well spend a few bucks more and get a 4k cfm.

btw did you buy it new or just bought? Have you changed the tranny fluid yet? What about the diffs?

When you're in 4lo what rpm are you hitting?

I bought it about 4 years ago used. It's been an awesome truck, I love it to death and treat it very well. I probably will go for the efan then just for some insurance. I have changed the fluids yes but it's time to change again now so pretty soon I will be.

As far as the RPM's I really don't remember, sorry...

If you're thinking e-fan, a lot of us have this one with great results. Everything you need comes with it and install is very easy.
Flex-A-Lite 180 Extreme. 3300 cfm and fits nicely in the stock fan shroud.

Usually 'bout $250 at Moe's. This sounds much like a t-stat issue -- stuck partially closed.
