I just put a cat back dual flowmaster's coming out of the 50 series performance muffler. I am now looking into a really good CAI. I am looking at a Volant Ram Air Kit designed for the 4.7L Ram and I found that on KRCperformance.com. The other one I have looked into is a K&N 77 series CAI off of performancecenter.com. The last one I am looking atis the AEM Brute Force Air Intake System which is also found on performancecenter.com. I have the dual exhaust and am going to be doing headers and a magnaflow cat after the cold air kit and 212x cams after that. So which kit would net me the most benefits it terms of performance and overall air flow for those types of mods. Also if you have one that you think is better than those to for my application please tell me what it is and where to find it. Thanks

dryflow filter is the way to go. the AEM is the only one you have listed on there that is a dryflow. The true flow the guy mentioned is also a good setup and its a dryflow also

i have the volant system on my truck with a flowmaster 40 si/do and i love it. changed the sound of the truck dramatically, dont notice any mpg at all. little more top end power on the highway. I got a great deal on it through performancecenter.com when they had 1 left last xmas scored it for $225 shipped. i like how its a plastic resin material instead of the chrome ( i just hate chrome ) looks real nice under the hood, (clean and simple) i like it and would reccomend it, i had the chrome intakes ebay special before and hated the way the chrome looked under the hood. . do a little researchon here and you will see most guys have k&n i havent seen too many with the volant, but all in all they will all give you the same results and are all around the same price range. just a personal choice really.
im pretty sure my volant is a dry flow, doesnt have to be oiled or anything. they do make the powercore oiled foam filter volant system too.
