Hey guys , new here anyways just purchased 07 ram quad/hemi has anyone heard or expirienced any problems with shocks , the truck has 36,000 km on it and the drivers side shock is leaking ! I assume it's the shock. seen oil on ground and is coming from shock tower!

 

if it's the front shock....check and make sure it isn't powersteering fluid. the shocks themselves aren't great, but i haven't heard of too many leaking that soon....hell, i don't even know if the shocks have fluid in them.

 

Brought it to the dealer this morning they are ordering 2 new front shocks! Bought the thing on Monday , hope it's not a sign of things to come , had no probs with my 97 !

 

I noticed a small oil puddle under the front of my '07 Ram today. Took a look and theright front shock is covered in oil and dripping off the axle to the ground. My truck has 2700 miles on it!

Think they got a bad batch from their supplier. [:'(]

 

i HAVE THE SAME PROBELM, MY PROBLEM IS THAT i AM HERE IN KOREA AND GETTING THEM HERE ARE A PAIN IN THE A#&... I GOT 6200 MILES ON MINE. I ALSO FOUND THAT AFTERMARKET ONES ARE HARD TO FIND. THE 07 MODELS FOR SOME REASON HAVE SOMETHING DIFFERENT THAN THE 06 MODELS??? HUH! I FOUND THAT KYB G0-2 WILL WORK. GOT THEM FROM JC WHITNEY. SO I HOPE TO HAVE THEM HERE BY NEXT WEEK... SNAIL MAIL...
