Default i know ive asked this before....

but for my 2wd 2002 non LSD do i need 75w-90 or 75w-140 for my rear differential? i got some royal purple 75w-90 hoping this is the right stuff

From the owners manual.....

DESCRIPTION - AXLE A multi-purpose, hypoid gear lubricant which conforms to the following specifications should be used. Mopar Hypoid Gear Lubricant conforms to all of these specifications. [ul]FRONT AXLE[*]The lubricant should have MIL-L-2105C and API GL 5 quality specifications.[*]Lubricant is a thermally stable SAE 80W-90 gear lubricant. [/ul] [ul]REAR AXLE[*]The lubricant should have MIL-L-2105C and API GL 5 quality specifications.[*]9 1/4 axle lubricant is a thermally stable SAE 75W-90 gear lubricant. [/ul] NOTE: Trac-lok® equipped axles require a friction modifier be added to the lubricant.
