Everyone has said that there truck has 6x9's speakers in the front and 6.5's in the rear. But my truck has 6.5's in the front and 5.25's in the back. Why is my truck different than every one else's?

i have a 2004 SLT QC w/ hemi

 

thats odd. are they after market or OEM?

 

There not infinity but those speakers are the ones that came stock on the truck

 

well, did you measure them to make sure theyre those sizes? and are you looking into new speakers? if so, make sure the space is big enough for 6x9's and 6.5's. if it is, then get those sizes. if not, i dont know what to tell you man. lol. i guess the dealer screwed you out of a few inches... those inches could go a long way if you catch my drift. hahaha.

 

mine has 6.5 and 5.25 also so dont stress. there are also tweeters in the dash

 

to fit 6.5s in the rear you have to cut metal so I dont know what to tell you maybe the non slt has 6x9s in the front instead of the component 6.5

 

wear are the tweeters in the dash?

 

I just replaced my speakers today and it has 6.5 and 5.25 also. The tweeters right up by the front window under the dash cover.
