Will the liners work with the SRT10 Wheels shod with 305/45/22 tires? I thought someone had mentioned in an old post that there would be clearance issues unless you do some trimming or other modifications?

Thanks

With my tire/wheel combo gap between tire and wheelwell liner is something around 1/2 inch.

As you can see above I have them on my SRT. They rub on hard cornering, but you can fix it by

Trimming
or
A short piece of 2x4 and some heat. Pin the 2x4 between the tire and liner, heat the back of the liner, let cool, remove 2x4.

will these still work after you add a body lift to hide the gap?

what did you use to heat the wheel well? i might have to melt it out or trim it when i get my new tires...id rather melt it backwards so you dont see cut marks.

they do come on some trucks stock now. if you get an 08 with chrome package they come with it. but i didn't want all the chrome stuff. I only like chrome bumpers and grill stuff. running borads and all that fuel filler cap bed rails is kinda meh to me. so i'm gonna pick up a set when my truck comes in and prolly install them the day I get it home lol.

I used a benzine torch,it does not take much, and do not leave it sitting in one spot, move it.... Last thing you want to do is set the plastic on fire and burn your truck all up If you are concerned about that just used a hair dryer and keep it on the same spot of a long time, might work.

Yes, you can use these on a truck with a body lift, but you will see the frame. The liner attaches to pieces that will rise with the truck, does not attach to the frame.
