How was the performance increase? Also, did you have to remove the engine cover?

i got the volant system on my truck and love it. Looks pretty nice under the hood too. I had teh ebay intake before it but ditched it cause i got a great deal on the volant. The ebay one was alright but had a loud annoying whistle and it was chrome ( i personally hate chrome under the hood looks cheesy to me, but to each his own) Like everyone else said just pick one they all have the same benefits and are pretty much within the same price ballpark too. the volan tystem i have really changed the sound of my exhaust and gave it a real nice tone ( i have a si/do 40 series, so it was loud to begin with now i love it even more)

1) No, I just had to remove the air filter box
2) I was getting 13.4 highway.... now im getting 16.7 - 18 mpg depending on my foot.

**disclaimer** I just bought the truck Feb 27th.... they TOLD me everything was changed out... oil, filter, air filter, plugs, tranny fluid, tranny filter, ect.

No, im not exaggerating...I was going to take this truck back because I was going through a tank of gas every 5 - 7 days.

Thanks for all of the information on the CAI's guys. I looked further into it and I think that I am going to go with the volent system. krcperformance.com makes all of their stuff specifically for 4.7 performance so it's kinda hard to go against them saying to use the volent. So I think I am going to go that route because it looks like a really good product and it's not overly expensive. Since I am getting the rest of my stuff from KRC I might as well as start now.

That is pretty sweet. Do you have a website where I could look at it to buy and also do they make it for the 4.7 because I thought that was a hemi CAI.
