Just as the subject states.
I have a stock 2002 Ram 1500 2wd. truck came with 245's, I currently have 265's on it but its time for new tires. Will 285/70-17's fit on the stock steel wheels and fit on the truck without problems?

 

I've seen a couple of post that say you can even go up to a 305 size on a 17" rim. I've got the 265/45's last falland wish I had gotten the larger size like a 275 or 285's to fill in the wheel well. I'm looking for a 20" size rim and tires when I get home next year.
