only got one race in. it rained like a **** after that. sumbitch truck stayed in first liek forever...lol. it was weird. it was first tiem drag racing. me and my buddy in his charger were first race of the day...it was ****ing awesome as hell. we had no idea what was going on. like, the burnout box = FAIL. i like, just drov elike 20 feet ahead...and i left my window open, and they yelled...lol.

wanted to try again in towmode, brake torque more/less, etc, etc...stoopid truck.

funny thing was my car # was 176, and i ran a 17.6...weird. my uncle (in his s4), was ##187, which was badass.

 

Your 8th mile isnt too bad, its a 3.7 right? Makes sense why you didnt get much faster from the 1/8-1/4 mile low gear rat and small engine won't give you those higher end speeds.

 

yea, it hung in second too long...i wonder if that may have counted for at least a .25 second or so...and few mph.

You also have to remember you have them heavy *** 20's compared to your steelies that you once had. I wonder what I'd run for ****s and giggles. My 1st car (accord) ran a 16.3 as my best, my 2nd car (98 monte carlo Z34) ran a 15.9. I'm guessing the Ram should be high 16's or low 17's. Hell I don't know

 

the steelies i had weighed 65 lbs...so these 20's i have must weigh about 90 lbs. **** that.

 

...i went to sac raceway in norcal yesterday and posted all new best times (old best time was 13.885)... ran 13.77, 13.76, 13.75 and 13.71
