Default Coil Spring Cutting

Has anybody heard of lowering the front of your truck by cutting some rings off of the front coils ? Would it be safe?

doesn't make it ride like crap it all. completely safe...if by "ride like crap", you mean, "have better response, and not bounce like a cadillac over every bump", then yes, it "rides like crap".

it usually makes the springs more firm as the spring rate increases when cut, it could be the TRX suspension i have, but i wouldn't want mine any firmer at all

Edit: also have fun squaring the end of the coil so it seats correctly

yea...maybe your suspension was firm enough...and springs made it super firm...but i know a few people who have done it to theirs, and it's all good. cut off a few, and throw it back in.

edit: actually, by "few", i mean one guy =)
