what is the biggest size i can go on a say 15inch or 17 inch rim -- with stock ride height -- 2008 ram hemi QC

You can't run a 15" wheel on your truck because of the big *** brakes. From what I gather, the general consensus on largest tire size with stock height is a 285/70 17 or a 33x12.50 17.

17's are the smallest rim you can run (price of having brakes that can actually stop you).
33x12.5x17 will fit with no issues...

They would fit if you cranked on the torsion bars, or just put new torsion keys in and leveled the front end!
