flashing pcm with programmer installed
gonna replace my EGR valve tonight, plan on flashing the PCM after the install... do i have to take my superchips program off before the flash, or can i just leave it on there?

By "FLASHING" do you mean let the dealership re-write over the Superchips software effectivly erasing your Superchips program?
Right now your hand held has your stock software inside of it... the superchips program is in your PCM... So if you "FLASH" your PCM anything currently on it will be lost.
So in short.... RETURN IT TO STOCK before you have it flashed.
