Default New front suspension Suggestions

I have the 2wd, with the coil spacers in the front. I want some new shocks, and was wondering if I needed to go to something a little longer...

Anyone have any suggestions?

Not according to the guys who did my spacers. I have Monroe Reflex in mind for mine when the time comes. Frankly, I'm amazed my truck still has OEM shocks at 95K. No excessive bounce at all.

I know. I even got some air over a rail crossing a few days ago. She settled back down with no bounce or weird motion. Now that I think about it, I've had several vehicles with close to or over 100K. Not one of 'em needed shocks. The last set I changed was on my F-150, four Mopars ago.

I just finished exactly what your doing. I did a trailmaster 2" coil spacer on my 07 1500 2wd. I had to use longer shocks, and I went with Rancho RS5000's p/n RS5279. They are 2" longer than stock. They made a huge difference over using the stock shocks with the coil spacers.

I posted a pretty long thread yesterday if you want more info. Just click my name and it should take you to my posts.
