I was going to get a true duel exhaust for my truck in few months. I was looking at getting Flowmaster 10 series or outlaw series mufflers. I was wondering if anyone has these on their truck, and if so, how do they sound and how loud are they.

 

the smaller the number, the louder the muffler. in cali, flowmaster 30 and under are illegal because theyre so loud.

 

i have the flowmaster 50 hd series and it sounds good.

 

I think he knows they are illegal when they say race mufflers. I hope so atleast. I can't imagine having one that loud on a DD. The 10 series is supposed to be about as loud as straight pipes with a different tone.

IMO my 40 series is plenty loud. Not too loud most of time although there are time when I wish it wasn't quite as loud but then others where it sounds great. I don't think I'd want it much louder.
