Default DJM Shackles

Just put on DJM Shackles yesterday. They lowered the rear end of the truck about an inch and half. I don't have any pictures yet, but I'll try and take some this weekend. Just wanted to let you all know about them just in case youhave thought about buying them. They are a great buy, inexpensive, and easy to read instructions. If you're looking for an economical way to lower the back end of your truck, take a look at these. Takes about 30 mins to an hour install.

If you want the backend a little lower you can also put on spring clamps and that will get about a 2"total drop

It makes the ride stiff, but I got used to it after a couple days

Yea, that extra 1/2-3/4" makes a big difference. Most people just pop out the overload spring instead of using the clamps, but when you do that you cant haul or tow as much. With the spring clamps your tow/haul rating stays the same

You guys inspired me to do it. Just ordered my drop shackles today and should get them sometime this week. I can't wait, after I am done I might do the spring clamps next depending on how much of a drop I get with the shackles.
