Since you already have a FM 40, I would say just add a cut-out before the muffler... Loud when you want it, and quiet when it needs to be...

when it comes to flowmaster it is hard to go wrong. i have little toyota car to drive to work, felt frogy one day so i put a 60 series on it pretty sweet for a beater.

I've heard mixxed reviews about if the 44 is louder than the 40. Some have said it wasn't quite as loud others have said it was slightly louder and most things I've read have said about the same.
