Ahhhh smart guy with on an ego trip huh... i think that gay cowboy hat is cutting a little too much air from your brain. By the way cowboy... I thought you were trying to be a smart *** (which is what you enjoy TRYING to do) and thought you were saying it sarcastically. Which is why I said that. Back to the point, that tundra hit the brakes and hit the 4x4 button on the end... Them japs are more dirty than tobacco you texans spit. Lol

I feel the first gen was better. Less issues by comparison at the start and had a generally (in our area) great owners experience. As for acceleration sure, with good power sure and a 4.30 rearend and my truck will fly too. Toyota's present quality issues arent just limited to the tundra but include its bread and butter camry as well. As for the present local opinion, general complaints about quality(people bitch about little things too) but the biggest beef so far is it wont hit the mileage claimed, which is a bit part due to the rearend(possibly). I admit all vehicles have first year jitters but toyota has had two with that problem. I loved my 96 Tacoma, only reason i got rid of it was not really efficient for child car seat. As for the brand, I like toyota, but this is not their best effort by a long shot. Between cam shafts, trannys, torque converter issues, tailgate sure, and bed bounce, they need to fix it fast.

I had an 01 4.7 tundra, and the tranny went out on me @ 70k miles. Later i found out that this was a problem with the 1st and 2nd year tundras as they were basically a 7/8 pickup with a V8 and a tacoma drive train. Toyota fixed the problem with 02-06. I spent about 2-3k in mods and at best i could keep up with a stock hemi. As far as mileage goes, i can agree. My reg cab short bed 5.7 is supposed to get 14-18, but the highest ive ever seen was 16. I think the quality has dropped a little in years past as well. The cam shafts and tq convertors were an isolated problem, bed bounce...cant say much on that, it sucks, but im use to it. Tailgates are better than 07 but they could be better. But the pros totally out weigh the cons for me, so im happy with my yota. But since im being honest about my truck here, im sure the rams arent 100% bullet proof and have had there problems too along the way.

yeah, i had to go in 3 times for a sensor. i figured out the problem myself though. it was my auto start. it was messing up on me and either turned on for 2 seconds then immediately off, or it stayed on for hours till i had to turn it off myself. ugh!!!! oh well, i fixed it by hitting the key start a million times. lol.

I know this vid has been posted before, but I still say holy crap every time I see it. If you have not seen it yet, make sure you are not drinking anything when you get to the Tundra or it will end up sprayed all over your computer screen....

ramitone.. i suggest you, ramitone up your azz. Your the dumb azz who doesn't see how the the guy in the ram in that link just floors it the whole and the the guy in the tundra hits it... HITS THE BREAKS!!!!!!!!(to get TRACTION) and then pulls the dodge that was spinning out already. Keep on believing what you want... idiot.
Man, did you watch the video you posted? Neither truck is even breaking a sweat. The Tundra's in neutral and the Ram is barely off idle. The Tundra never pulls the Dodge at all. The Tundra driver uses the brakes 'cause it's over. The Dodge stopped after rolling a few feet and someone honks a horn (presumably the Tundra). I have to hand it to the Tundra driver -- he had sense enough not to step over the strap, he unhooked it first.
