I am looking to get a extremely loud exhaust, i have the 07 ram 1500 4.7l flex quad cab short bed.
I was thinking about puttin two super 44's with turn downs on it. These are probably dumb questions but....

can I do two mufflers on my truck?
is it bad to put cut outs on the truck?
would there be an advantage by using a cross pipe with the two mufflers?
by having 2 mufflers does it ruin your engine because of lack of backpressure?

I am looking to get this all setup this weekend, and i needed to know these questions thanks

I will tell you that I put a 50 series flowmaster with dual outlets on my truck which has a 4.7 yesterday and its pretty darn loud. Check out the 40 series it would be even louder.

 

If you are truely looking to be loud go with one of the loudest mufflers of all time... Cherry Bomb Extreme. Get the single in/dual out. It won't disappoint you with the sound.

Personally I have the 50 series flowmaster dual exhauston my 05 ram 4.7. It sounds pretty nice, but I would like a little louder. Its quite while cruising which is nice and sounds decent while accelerating. The thing is that I want a much better flow too. The 50 is kinda restrictive. I am thinking about doing gibson headers, magnaflow free-flow cats, and a Magnaflow 5x8 muffler single in/dual out (will replace the flowmaster). I think that would sound pretty good and really help with the performance/flow, especially mixed with a volent CAI.
