Opinions on lift kit for 08 megacab
Hello all. I'm new here and just bought an 08 1/2 ton 4wd megacab. I am going to get a 4" lift and 35" tires/wheels put on it. I have found a Tuff Country 4" kit and tires through Les Schwab at a decent price, but I also checked 4 Wheel Parts and they have a 4" Superlift package that contains new front coil springs whereas the Tuff Country kit uses coil spacers. I know coil spacers are fine for say a 2" leveling kit, but is it OK to use coil spacers for a 4" front end lift?
Any input would be appreciated.

i'm not sure about the limitations of a spacer...maybe.
anyways, i just wanted to reply cause and say i'm glad you're not getting a 3" kit, cause that big ole' truck of yours won't look right with a mini-lift like that. i'd go even bigger than 4" with your truck =)
nonetheless, get some big wheels to make your truck look balanced...

for the megacab spend the extra money and get the carli suspension or kore. Those kits ride the best out of all of the lifts available becuase instead of just getting the truck up in the air it actually puts more travel in the suspension so technically is new supension not a lift. It stills raises the truck about 5" but it rides so much better. I rode in my uncle megacab with the procomp lift it it rides like ****. Also you can get 37" tires under there no problem oh and they sell lower end stuff to becuase most people only see the $11,000 full on unlimited suspension. IF you tow heavy equipment, carli now has the airbags that are long travel.

This truck has the carli suspension with 37's. IT makes the megacab look normal. My dad was looking at this truck and right when we were going to get it we had to replace my moms car with a lexus.
