Default new rims and tire question?

i am going to get some new aftermarket rims ( 20 in ). and also some new tires ( 35-13.50-20 ). i am going to put a 2inch level kit on my ram with a 3inch body lift. what i was wondering was if i would need to buy spacers so there is no rubbing involved? or will i be good without any spacers? thanks guys

Spacers are not a good idea. Too much stress on wheel bearings and other suspension components. Strictly a guess, but I would think it won't be an issue anyway. Just look for wheels with the proper backspace and offset.

IMO i think it depends on how much of a spacer you need, due to how much rub you have. if you have a minor rub, and a 1/4" spacer works for you, then i dont think it will do too much damage if any at all. now a 1.25" spacer.....now thats another story. but with a 13.5" wide tire i would think you will need the 1.25" spacer, and in your case you dont have the wheels, so try and find the right backspacing and offset. if not then youll need the spacer. ROMEOSLODIER03 has the 1.25" spacer and its fine. he even tows 10,000 lbs with no problem.

if you buy your new rims with the proper backspacing for the larger tires, then you won't need spacers.
