EGR Valve Replacement

Well my truck popped code P0406 today. So I went by Advanced and had them look it up. Turns out to be the EGR valve is bad. I have the extended warranty. Is this covered under warranty since it is part of the emissions? Advanced told me that it is a dealer part anyway.

i just had this same experience. i went to the dealer and picked up the part for $85. it took just under 45 min to replace it. no problems anymore.
