Ok see if you follow me here.

I thought hmm let me try to unlock my doors on my 07 1500 with the key instead of the remote. To my suprise the key wont turn in the door lock. Anyone ever run across this prob?

 

maybe its the valet key you know so they can't open the trunk.... Wait... LOL

07 is same as 06 right sep key sep key fob. Could just be they screwed up the keys.

I almost learned the hardway that my buick only had the valet key, was gonna go scuba diving and was about to use the hide a key but for some reason I thought to check to see if the key unlocked the door (no clue why I thought to check) and nope it wouldnt unlock it.

 

that's weird. My driver door will open, but it won't unlock any other door. There is also no keyhole on any handle except for my driver side. I think that they rig them so that you won't use they key.

its prolly to confuse the meskins cause theyve never used a key fob, theyll be stuck trying to use the key to open the door
