My personal opinion from what I've seen. Is that spacers really are not all that safe. They are machined to fit over your exsisting lugs and with that in mind the holes are made just big enough for it to slide over the lugs. I have seen some of these on a buddy of mine's truck. They look good, but the holes are just big enoughso that the spacer can move back and forth even when they are tightened down. So every time you have to stop and go that spacer shifts around which can cause damage to your lug and potentially cause it to break. I haven't personally seen this happen but I have heard many horror stories about it happening and causing a lot of damage. If you are looking at getting some of these so that you can have a bigger width of rim or tire on your truck, I would look at getting some custom offset wheels made instead. It would be worth the price considering the potential amount of damage that could happen.

Puts extra strain on suspension components, too. The wheel bearings will not be happy campers after a while.
