Default Opinions please!!!

So I have a question and am looking for opinions...

I set up my appointment for the 27th of this month to install my 6" BDS lift kit with the gas shock upgrade.

Along with the lift my plan was to roll with some 20" rimmies and BFG KM2 tires in a LT325/60R20/D, which calcs to 35.4x12.8x20. Perfect right?

But...my new favorite wheel only comes in 22" and 24"!

So my question is...should I go with the 22's and upgrade my tires to the BFG KM2 in a LT335/55R22/D? That's like a 36.5x13.2

What do you think? Am I sacrificing clearance too much? Is this a stupid idea?

Here are some pics for your viewing pleasure...

IMO if your going with just a 35" tire id stick to a smaller rim, obviously u wanna take this thing offroad and the greater the side wall the better for more flex. Plus, the jump up to a 22" rim is gonna be crazy dollars for tires.

Yeah man the 22" tire upgrade is a bag idea. 1 35" tire will cost you $400. so you figure $1600 every time u need new tires....Thats money you could spend on something else for your truck, and besides the smaller wheel will be better for off road and i think look better anyways cause it makes the tire look more "beafy". Just my opinion though

I don't mind. I feel like a lot of people ask that question on here and it doesn't get answered very much...

I got quoted $5,500 for my 6" BDS kit with the gas shock upgrade, 20" Black Rockstars, and 325/60/20 BFG M/T KM2's.

That price includes alignment, three-day install, the whole nine...out the door.

I figured to have the products I want and to have it done by a reputable place I would be paying around $5,000, so I'm not far off. And as you can tell I've chosen some fairly expensive wheels and tires.

To update from my original post...KMC, unfortunately, doesn't make the Empire wheel in a 5x5.5 pattern...yet! This sucks 'cause I was stoked on the idea.

Looks like I might be going back to my orignal idea with the 35x12.50's and getting into either KMC Rockstars or Monsters.

I'll post pics at the end of this month when all is said and done.

If anyone has wheel suggestions I'm all ears. I think you can imagine from my post the look I'm going for. Thanks!

Run the rockstar, that rim is sweet! Id seriously consider it it 17 inch tho if thats an option considering the tires you're running etc.
