I took off my radio bezel to see exactly how much room is behind the trim kit. I am planning on installing either a lilliput screen or an aftermaket indash player (with some dashmodifications).

The gray clip was attached to themolding behind the bezed with a clip. The black clip was attached to a blank spot where the airbag control is for the standard cap pickup.

I noticed these two wires located behind the bezel and was curious to know what they are used for. I think that the one on the right(black harness)is foran optionalairbag control, but i am not sure to what either of them are for.

If anyone could let meno whatfactory electonis these harness' are for would be great.

One is probably for the optional heated seat control.

 

I think that the 2 prong one goes to a cup holder light that some dodges come with. If you don't have one you can buy them from dodge for like 30 bucks. I haven't figured out the larger one yet.

 

ya i thinkyour absolutely right about the gray two pronged harness. do you know if its switched to turn on with my headlights?

 

The one you circled in yellow is the cup holder light and the other one I believe is the on/off switch for the passenger air bag on the RC trucks.
