Does anyone know if the 2004 Ram 1500's that do NOT come with foglights pre-installed actually DO come with the wiring despite not having the lights attached?

Maybe I should rephrase... what I'm trying to figure out, is when I buy a pair of factory fog lights for my truck, that doesn't have lights, do I need to find a kit that has wiring with it as well? or is the wiring already there?

I noticed a group of wires running down the driverside from the battery to the fog light area, but there is not one on the other side. I think that this is the wiring I'm asking about, but I'm not sure. If I'm correct, that should connect the driverside light then another group of cables runs from that light to the passenger light.

If anyone with more expertise could shed some light on the situation that would be great.

 

Look under the front of the truck on the driverside corner...there should be a unused harness on the bumper support area if it's pre-wired.

The facotry kit comes with a Y harness going from that connector to the passenger light....along with the new light switch, both lights and brackets.

 

Search my posts. I've done this. I've even got pictures of the connector that all SLTs come with.
