for you all that have a guage pod....what did u wire the light to???.....im lost....i tried once but did nothing but tapped into a live wire..lol

 

I honestly have never installed one on a Ram but when I installed one on our Honda Accord I wired the lights from the guages in with the parking lights. So that whenever I turn the parking lights on they light up. Like you know when you turn the parking lights on it lights up the dash and stuff too so basically whenever they are on or the full lights are on the guages are lit.

This imo is the best way to do it. You could also wire it with a switch directly to the battery just put an inline fuse in. This way you could control when they are lit up.

 

I just picked up a lamp feed from the dash, don't remember which one. It works with the dimmer and all.
