Useless load cap info someone may find useful
Had to haul a load of construction debris to the dump today. It was a good size load that I got numbers on, so I figured someone who needs to haul might find this info useful.
I went on the scale at 7540
Truck with me in it 6020
Offload was 1520
I have a 1500 rclb 4x4 that has a bedbox full of tools, and system one rack (it's heavier than you think) and drop in bedliner.I'm guessing all that stuff weighs in at 200-250. I weigh 200. Gas tank half full.
I was surprised the offload was over half ton. The truck felt like it could haul more. I had a pallet of roll roofing one time and that was pretty heavy, but don't know what the weight was.
