Default Exhasut Job!!

I'm goin cheap on this one for now. What do u think about replacing the stock muffler and resonater on my 04 5.7L hemi and replacing it with a dual flowmaster super 44 and having 2 side pipes go out in front of the tire with chrome tips (dual side pipes on one side), Hopefully it won't burn the rocker panel paint. Should I go before the tire or after? Any Differences?

I got a 1>2 magnaflow out the rear right now, but was thinking about doing the same thing you're thinking about doing since my pipes aren't mandrel bent. It'd be the easiest thing you could possibly do if you went in front of the tires. If I change it to the dual right side exit, I'm going in front of the tires.

I don't think melting the paint on the rocker will be a problem as long as you give it a couple inches. It exits just below the box in the rear when stock anyway

i just got a aero turbin 3030 on my 04 ram quad cab short bed, 5.7 hemi and i had the resenator taken out and it sound ten times better than any flowmaster, magnaflow, flowpro out there. you should check it out. The muffler is not that popular to so a lot of people dont have it and you truck will have a one of a kind sound.

I think that you shouldn't replace the resonator. It would be louder. But's it's your truck do whatever you feel is best.
