exhaust help

Default exhaust help

hello everybody iam new to this forum. I have a 2007 quad cab sport hemi 2wheel drivewith the MSD or the engine that turns of 4 cylinders and my question was what can i do so my exhaust sound good. I had a magnaflow on it but but whenever it drop to4 cylinders it sounded like a honda civic so i decided to take it off so my question wasis there a way i can a put an exhaust on it and make it sound good. or is that just how its goin to sound with any exhaust any help would be apreciated

Thats just how its gonna be, MDS is MDS and your not gonna stop the exhaust from sounding funny when it kicks in. I have a magnaflow on mine and to be honest, i dont notice that much of a difference in mine. All i did was ran a single in dual out with tails out the rear. I suppose some of the sound you hear may be due to how you ran it.

yeah i had the magnaflow but i had it with some dumps maybe it will sound better if i had some tips on it. I was a one in and two outlets

i noticed with my magnaflow that it's almost as loud inside as it is out, and it has a little bit of drone 1400-1800 with light load. I guess that would get a whole lot worse if you dumped it. it isn't too bad really with the rear exits.

same here. i got the mds and my exhaust sounds like an old beat up pick up truck when it drops down...nothing you can do about it unless you get rid of mds
