The MDS should only cut in at hiway speeds, you might have a partially blocked injector. Try a can of "seafoam" in a 1/2 tank of gas and see if it clears up.

Is there anyway to know when the MDS kicks in? My truck has a slight vibration that I can feel through the gas pedal, I assume that is from the MDS.Is that how you can tell, or should I not have the vibration at all?

 

You know I have the same thing. I just got my dodge and it had 300 miles on it when I got it. I feel a small vibration in the gas pedal and have had some small studder when i start going after the light turns green. Iam not racing it just normal throtal. its not all the time. anyone else having these issue. Hope I dont need to take it in already.

 

The MDS makes the truck run on 4 cylinders so you might feel a slight vibration. I think the truck has to be going at least 20 mph before the MDS will kick in.
