Default 2nd gear

Hi all, i'm new to the forum and have a few questions. I have 6000 miles on my 07 and I noticedthat I can feel the tranny shifting into 2nd. It's not jerkybut it's obvious when it shifts. I drove my wifes new 08 andit's a bit smoother. Maybe I didn't notice it before.A dodge mechanic told me that as it gets more worn in it will be more noticible. Is this normal and does anyone else have this? I never noticed it on my old 05. Also, I had to have my drivers door realigned after it was windblown and of course the door will never be the same but I now have a creaky window in the up position. I tried a silicone spray but it didn't work. Anyone have any ideas?

welcome to the forums.

first off, you can edit yoru posts man! no need to make another post saying, "oh hey...in my other post i meant to say this".

you asking about windows or tranny? for windows/door...i have no idea what you're talking about...silicone spray? it's way over my head.

as for the tranny switching more aggressive...hell, that's awesome in my opinion. i want it to bark into the next gear...

The transmission computer constantly adjusts how firmly it shifts into each gear, especially from P-R-D and the opposite.
