they're awesome!

i am going to track on sunday. my truck was running 17.3's on a chilly night. i'm hoping these headers + the new muffler put me in the 16's. i know mufflers don't do that much, but in my case it did. i guess my 40series was just not giving ANY back pressure. The headers did wonders for my trucks low-end torque, but swapping from a 40series to a 50series did even more on the low-end.

i have the flowmaster 40 series muffler on right now. I keep reading that after JBA header install, the 40 series takes a dump. What's going on with that? Looks like I'll have to swap for the 50 series... but damn, another 2 c notes.

hey, did you put your headers on yourself? if not, how much did the shop charge for the install?

use a georlich muffler instead if you can find one, same as flowmaster, but without the name stamped on it, thats what me and redbud66 run

did the headers myself. not a very difficult install at all. shop quoted me at $80 for 4-6 hours, but took me 2 1/2. wtf.

anyhow, 40 series sounds a little quieter, but that's actually a plus. I don't think I'm going to swap the mufflers. immediate increase in torque. did you guys leave on your stock minicats or did you replace with downpipes?

anyone purchase a www.thefastman.com throttle body for our 3.7?

lol @ $80 for 4-6 hours. not only is 4-6 hours crazy...but only $80 for that much work?

nope. just replaced manifolds, went flange to flange or donut to donut...whatever u wanna call it.

as for the throttle body...i'm telling u man, nothing's gonna do ANYTHING until u get those gears man.
