I'm looking to buy some factory floor mats for my 06 Ram QC. I found alot on EBAY that are factory mats.The ones for the 05 model year are cheaper than the ones for the 06. The cabs don't look any diferent to me, but did the interior dimensions change at all from 05 to 06?

 

No the interior dimension didn't change. The difference in price from the 05 to the 06 is that in 06 dodge put the eyelet in thefloormat and the hook on the floorboard to prevent sliding. I believe this is the only difference on the floormats.

 

Actually, While I currently have an '08, I previously owned an '05 and the floor mats on the 05 had that eyelet and hook on the floor as well. As far as the interior dimensions go I have been wondering about it for a while. It may just be my imagination, but I would swear that my 05 had more leg room in the back seat.

 

If so my bad. I thought it was 05. Then I ain't got a clue on why the price difference. Is it the same name brand, material or anything else that could be different other than the year? Try the dealer. I know their over priced sometimes but I've actually bought parts from them that were cheaper than anywhere I looked.

The mats that I have been looking at are factory Moparmats from a couple of different dealerships that sell on EBAY. My local dealership wants about twice as much as what I can get the mats shipped to my door from EBAY. I didn't know if the dimensions changed, or if maybe the colors were just slightly different from 05 to 06.
-Anybody know what the snaps are for under the rear seats?
