should i paint my headers?
they should hopefully be here soon (ahem airram).
i'm thinking of painting them w/ some highheat enamel...something rediculous. like yellow or some **** so they stand out more. i got the stainless ones, cause, i didn't wanna pay for the ceramic coated ones, and cause i knew i wanted to spray them yellow or something.

I would not do it. After 2 months that yellow will look very bad.
If you end up painting, no matter the color, I would get something good for 1400+. Eastwood makes very good high temp paints.

anyways, i bought a can of red header paint. 3000 degree ****. part of the instruction includes setting the paint via oven. it's gonna be badass. the headers are buried way in there, and it's gonna be nice to see that red deep in there.

D-man, was trying to get on yesterday to tell you, but it looks like you are on the right track anyway.
Was gonna say that the only paint I've ever seen hold up over any time is the kind you gotta set with heat...
