as some of you may have seen in my thread earlier, i painted my calipers. this was triggered by the need for a brake job.

anyways, went to autozone, got the pads for a 2006. i get home...they're not the same - they were wrong!

SO, i go back, and the guys starts checking other years. he tried earlier years, no luck. anyways, my pads are actually an 07 ram 1500, not an 06. the guy says he sees this crap all the time, especially in hondas...he's had to go back like 4 years to get the right pads for newer cars.

long story short, late model 06 rams might have a bit of 07 in them...i knwo in the brakes they (MINE) did.

 

I did not know that, I will have to remember that on my 06.

That's interesting. When was your truck made in '06? My truck has a build date in march.
