mds question...hope this a new question
nice. good thing we have pros around to tell us whats what. hey parts/service, is there any concern about the durability of the "special" lifter?
But..... Over the life of the engine, is thier going to be more wear and tear on injecters, plugs, coil packs, oil pump, cam shaft if only the same 4 cy are in MDS over the life of the engine?
I'm not suggesting the hemi is only going to run in mds, but would it make more sense to have a alternating cy's run in MDS mode?.
I'm considering buying a New Charger R/T and I don't know any thing abought MDS, would locking out the overdrive disable MDS?

I don't think anyone has 200K+ miles on a mds hemi yet...let alone torn one down to see what's going on.
