Took a trip to the doctor the other day. it doesn't look good. he says i have a severe case of the modding bug and it's only getting worse with time and will eventually take over my whole body. it started out as a simple leveling kit to make my truck (05 rcsb 4x4 hemi solar yellow 20" plasticrome wheels) look a little bit more aggressive. then i made the mistake of getting a summit magazine in my hand and it's all been downhill from there for my bank account. i just recently got divorced and i'm still getting used to the fact that no one is telling me what to do with my money. now, take in consideration that i'm in iraq and can't necessarily even put these things on my truck just yet, but lets just say christmas is coming a little bit early this year. lol. it went from the leveling kit and now includes an s&b cold air intake, underdrive pulley set, throttle body spacer(which isn't going on but came with package), superchips programmer, positraction, 4.56 gears, flex lite electric fan with 180 degree thermostat, receiver hitch, pacesetter headers, pa 3" body lift(this truck doesn't go offroad, i have a non street-legal truck for that), power wire(thanks air_ram), krc 210 camshaft, true dual exhaust w/ cherry bomb glasspacks, and lastly but not the last nitto mud grapplers 35x12.50R20. just writing this down makes me realize how bad i have it. i think i need to go lay down. i know what you guys are thinking:[sm=ttiwwp.gif], but i can't do that till i get in the same country as my truck. now that i've got all this stuff it's killing me not being able to put it on.

hoooollyy hell, that's a lot of mods in one breath. well, good for you. you're doing one of the most difficult jobs in the world, i'm glad you can reward yourself for it. don't forget those pics when you get back

 

thanks man, that's pretty much what i'm doing for myself. last time when i came home from a year in afghanistan i didn't put anything aside to just play with and i always felt like i cheated myself. not this time. xfeejayx, i love your signature picture. i miss the snow so much. to me there is nothing better than a big, empty parking lot with a fresh layer of powder. let the do-nuts fly! lol

 

no lie, snow is great. snowed the first night i brought her home. i had to park it a couple times with the rear on top of a 2-3 foot snow mound left by the plow, wish i had a pic of that, top of the tailgate 7ft in the air.

The cancer attacks your eyes, first, then it moves to your gut, and visciously attacks the wallet. You'll have to go to "wallet dialysis"...based on your pay-frequency. Mods only attack the symptom. Sounds like your terminal. I don't think they make a Hallmark card for this,...do they? [sm=confused06.gif]

 

that's exactly how it happened too. luckily for me i don't really have any bills at the moment and can afford it. i think thedisease has spread to my boat as well, cause i'm thinking of painting it to match my truck. the modding has just begun!speaking of which, does anyone know where i can get the 6.1 ltr valve springs cheap?
