My new (to me) 2005 Dodge Ram Hemi STS turbo
I just got my Red 2005 Dodge Ram regular cab short bedfrom Las Vegas night before last. I bought it off ebay and am very impressed with it. I will give you a list of the mods as I know them;
STS turbo set at 5 # of boost (manual boost control)
PWR Intercooler kit (looks like 12" barrel style)
50# injectors (I think) I still need to check these if anyone knows how let me know.
JBA long tube headers
SMT-6 controler (currently) thinking of going with the SCT scanner (hemifever and I have been talking about this)
22" rims with 305X60X22 tires
Drop Force drop kit looks like a 2" front coil and a 2" rear shackle and shocks
sway bars front and rear
Custom leather seats
JVC KD-NX5000 stero with all the bells and whistles (it will take me a month to learn to work this)
4 component speakers in stock location and 2 MTX tweeters mounted in the doors with a 4 channel 350 watt amp
10" subs behind both seats with a dedicated 500 watt single channel amp
Autopage alarm system with more stuff than I know how to work
I conntacted the guy who had the truck built and he says it has 460 RWHP and he could not remember the torque, I will test the truck at the track and dyno when I get it tuned properly
I drove the truck last night and was impressed with the power. I went to pass a car who was doing 70mph and when I got around them and looked down I was doing 120. My wife has a 2005 Dodge 4 door with the 5.7 Hemi and it will walk off and leave her by a long shot...lol.
I will get some picks of the truck uploaded and post them on her in the next few days. I look forward to any help yall will be able to give to get this truck running better.
Future mods are SRT-10 or cowl hood, bed cover of some kind (either custom diamond plate or fiberglass) and the SCT scanner of course.
