Hey all, I just purchased a brand new 2008 dodge ram sxt 4x4 hemi. I have a few questions, first of all does anybody know which brand is best for nerf bars (side steps) as well as what is a good site to order them from. Secondly my Ram did not come equipped with fog lights and I would like to install a set. Where would be the best place to purchase these and what is involved in the instilation process. Thanks for any input.

Congrats on the new ride and welcome to the forum. Im not sure if your truck is pre wired for fog lamps or not, i know the SLT is and alot of ppl that add em in pre wired trucks order this kit:

Nerf bars...everybody has a different opinion on them. Personally i went with Bully Bars i got off ebay. Cheap, look good and was what worked for me.

I also went with Bully bars and am very satisfied with them... paid about $225 on sale locally.
I also went to eBay to buy the factory fog light kit that includes the new headlight switch which is different from the one in trucks without fog lights. Note thought that I did read on here somewhere that you have to have a SLT or higher trim level to have the wiring already in the truck under the hood to plug-n-play the factory kit.
I also bought the factory chrome grille inserts on eBay to replace the black "mesh" inserts.
I can also recommend the LEER 700 fiberglass lid if one so desires one. I chose to go with the keyless entry option too so when I press the unlock button on my fob, it unlocks thelid too.... very handy.

Thanks all for the replies, I will look in the bully bars. As for the fog lights I do not believe my truck is prewired so I may have to look for a kit that has everything included. I will get pics up as soon as possible. I have done one mod so far which is a 40 series flowmaster cat back exhaust system and it sounds great. Thanks again
