yesterday i was talking to a friend of mine at school and he said he was going to start putting super unleaded in his truck (which ran on regualr unleaded). He said it would help clean his engine a bit if he put super in his gas tank..is this true? would it harm the engine at all over time or even at all?

not gonna do a anything either way. tell your friend to put the regular in and give you the extra cash, maybe you'll put it to good use.

if you want to keep the fuel system, put a bottle of stp fuel injector cleaner into the gas tank a couple times a year.

 

^^^^^^^^^^ What he said. Won't do anything for the truck except raise the fuel cost/mile. Seafoam is a viable alternative to some of the fuel system cleaners.
