Default Hunter Bull Bars

anyone have any experience with Hunter Bull Bars?

ebay has 'em for a decent price, and I've seriously considered getting one, but don't know much about 'em.

I think they are really cool. I wanted a black one for my truck, but everyone says they only really look good on 4x4's, so if you have a 4x4 then i would go for it. i think they are nice.

My question was specific to the Hunter bull bars, not about bull bars in general. I've already decided to put one on my truck. I just didn't know anything about the Hunters, it's not a name I've seen anywhere except on ebay....

Personal opinion: The pics you attached show the bar sitting real low, below the grille. mmstar's bar runs about to the middle of the grille. I think that looks MUCH better than the Hunter in the pic you attached.

the hunters are that low so you don't have to modify the air dam to put them on. mmstar's go through the air dam, so you'd have to trim around it.

i have the horizontal chrome grill so i like how mine is. however it is low and i have ripped off my license plate twice now, but i drive my 4x4 like a truck should be driven. you sound like your trucks a pavement queen so you wouldnt have any issues. but if its a stock 2wd itll look funny, more like a trains cattle guard...
